HeartBeam Reveals Data Depicting the Use of HeartBeam AI in Addition with VCG for Detecting Arrhythmias
Shots:
- HeartBeam has highlighted data from the study using HeartBeam AI with vectorcardiography (VCG) vs single-lead ECGs to detect atrial flutter at the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) conference
- The study demonstrated an improvement of 28% in identifying atrial flutter cases with a sensitivity of 91.0% with VCG vs 71.2% with single-lead ECG. It showed a specificity of 98.7% vs 96.9% in the identification of individuals with or without atrial flutter
- The company’s 3D VECG technology, for remote cardiac monitoring, works by capturing heart signals through X, Y & Z projections to synthesize 12-lead ECG. Its 1st application will be in HeartBeam AIMIGo which is currently under the US FDA’s review
